Hey i drive my dad's 1998 jaguar vanden plas alot and I have seen people post videos of them showing their fuel consumption and other options on their trip computer in the gauge cluster screen. Although, I do not know how to check mine. I would really like to learn what button to push or what to do. Please help me out.
thanks!|||its the miles you drove divided by the gallons of gas it holds. it has to have a full tank.|||You can calculate fuel consumption measured in MPG or L/100km with one of online calculators. Here is a link to one of them.

How to get rid of the "Air Suspension Fault" warning on 2004 Jaguar XJ8?
I have a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 with less than 61,000 miles on it. This warning message pops up on the odometer screen all the time. The reset button only takes the text on the screen away, but how do you get rid of the amber colored warning light?|||Did you get it fixed? If not, then that's why it is still lit. If you got it fixed, tell them to reset the codes.|||Get rid of that craptastic air bag suspension and replace it with coil springs.
Which is a better guitar and why? a Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special HH or a Fender Jaguar HH?
The Classic Player Jaguar Special HH has a tremolo whereas the Jaguar HH has a fixed bridge. The Jaguar HH only comes in black, which I like but the Classic Player Jaguar Special HH comes in a 3-tone burst and white. I play rock music like Nirvana, Foo Fighters, GnR, Aerosmith, and others in those categories.|||Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special HH.
Jaguar question? Can someone help me understand something about the Jaguar models?
I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I don't know anything about cars. I was looking on wikipedia about the new Jaguar XJ models (X351), and it says there are three different types of engines: the 3.0 litre V6 Diesel, 5.0 litre V8 Petrol, and the 5.0 litre V8 Petrol supercharged. I don't understand the difference between these engines. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks.|||The litre size is the engine displacement (the amount of air and fuel that can fit in the cylinders). The "V" denotes the type of engine - specifically the way that the cylinders are oriented in the engine block. The number after the "V" is the number of cylinders. The petrol/diesel is obviously the type of fuel that is used. A supercharged engine has a compressor (or supercharger) that compresses the air/fuel mix before it goes into the cylinders effectively making that cylinder able to burn more air/fuel than it could without the supercharger.
Knowing nothing about cars....most of that is irrelevant to you. Focus on the power and fuel consumption for the different engines and whether you want petrol or diesel. You may also want to test drive the different configurations as they will have different driving characteristics.|||The diesel offers a reasonable amount of power and both good economy and great longevity too.The V8 petrol is the base engine and would satisfy most people. The supercharged engine offers the most power when you need it and reasonable fuel consumption if you do not press too hard on the gas pedal too often.

How do you differentiate between a leopard, a jaguar and a cheetah?
And, please don't tell me a jaguar is a car and the others are not... heh! ;)|||First of all, the spots:-
1) Cheetahs have black spots all over the body.
2) Leopards have black circles all over the body
3) Jaguars have dark brown as well a black circles all over the body.
Secondly, the body colour %26amp; the habitat:-
1) Cheetahs have yellowish tint of skin. This helps in it's camouflage in the savanna grasslands.
2) Leopards have yellow-orange tint which helps them in camouflage in the trees
3) Jaguars have dull yellow skin colour which provides a better camouflage than the Cheetahs but then they don't live in the savannas in Africa, they live in the North American forests.
Third, it's the speed:-
1) Cheetah - 70mph
2) Leopard - Avoids running mostly but 50 - 60mph
3) Jaguar - (Same as Leopard)
Fourth, it's the way of hunting:-
1) Cheetah - First it camouflages itself in the savannahs, comes close to the prey %26amp; then pounces on it, breaking it's spine.
2) Leopards - Sits on Tree tops, watches the prey below %26amp; then pounces on it, breaking it's neck.
3) Jaguars - No Camouflage. It hides behind the trees, waits for the prey to come and then pounces on it. It does not miss the aim like the panthers or other cats.|||Firstly, they're all members of the cat familiar. Second they're all fairly large with the jaguar being the largest and strongest, followed by the leopard, the puma and finally the cheetah. The Puma is a tawny creature found in both the Americas, varying in size according to climate, with the largest recorded ones in the colder parts of Argentina. In North America it is sometimes called a Cougar. It bears a superficial resemblance to its larger cousin the Lion and is sometimes found in mountainous areas, hence the name Mountain Lion. The Jaguar is found in South America and like the Leopard and the Cheetah, it is spotted. However the Jaguar is larger and stronger than either of these, in fact it is the only cat able to kill with a single bite, having the strongest jaws in the Cat family, while only Lions and Tigers are larger in terms of both size and mass. The leopard is the most successul of all feline predators in that its generalist diet, supreme intelligence and absolute stealth makes them able to take on even human adversaries. In India and Africa, people fear the Leopard far more than the Tiger or Lion respectively as a result. The Cheetah, the third of the large spotted cats, is native to Africa and Asia, but most commonly associated with the African savanna and is the fastest of all land animals, being the only cat whose claws cannot retract and appears therefore to be more doglike. It even chases down prey more often than stalking it. Cheetahs are easily tamed and were once used to accompany Moghul kings on hunting trips. The above three cats differ from each other in habitat, prey species, behaviour and colouration. A jaguar inhabits the jungles or rainforests of South America, while both Leopards and Cheetahs prefer the plains of Africa and Asia. Both Jagaurs and Leopards have been known to climb trees to rest and keep their prey safe from other roving predators such as wild dogs, hyenas and lions. Confusingly they're both referred to as Panthers in literature, added to by the fact that both can have black mutations (only possible if both parents are black). Jaguars (like Tigers) enjoy swimming and have shorter tails than Leopards who prefer the Savannas and need the tails to aid in balance while running down their prey. Jaguars also have more muscular bodies. Cheetahs can be thought of as the sprint athletes with thin bodies and individual black ,dots as opposed to Jaguars and Leopards with their black circles witj brown centres and heavyweight boxer or wrestler build. The Cheetah' s head is smaller and has a black line running along the nose. Finally the mutation that one finds in Cheetahs is called the King Cheetah and results from the spots fusing into 'lines' or 'stripes', in my opinion a relic from the days when they were creatures that needed to do more stalking.|||Not to sound smart but by their spots. What is the type of the ants, frog, and the bark of the tree used by Paw Jaguar? "APOCALYPTO"?
First, what is the kind of the ants used by americain indians to suture their wounds?? (used also by Paw jaguar's wife)
Then, what is the type of the frog whose skin is impregnated by a toxic substance and what is the name of this substance?? (chemical formula, properties, be generous ; -)))
And finally the bark of the tree which Jaguar used to look after its wound.
Thanks|||Its JAGUAR PAW!!!! and his wife used army ants to suture Turtles Runs cut. Secondly, he uses a golden poison dart frog. a single dart frog has enough batrachotoxin poison to kill 100 humans. as for the bark, i dont know. btw great movie!|||Actually, that was not a golden poison dart frog (Phyllobates terribilis) or even Phyllobates bicolor... the frog in the film was far too large for a frog that naturally grows to about 2.5"
It's some form of toad... Amazing film though, top 9 in my whole of movie watching... love it

Whats the best brand when shopping for a catalytic converter for a 2002 jaguar?
i just purchased a beautiful white 2002 jaguar xtype 65k miles that is missing the catalytic converter and the guy is telling me thats not important and the car will continue running just fine.Is this true and what type should i start shopping for?|||Your "Check Engine" Light should be coming on soon. The CAT is monitored by all OBDII compliant vehicles. (All Vehicles 1996 and up)
Also it will not pass an emissions test without one as it is a Federally Mandated Emissions Device. If you live in an area that requires a smog or equipment test you will fail and you will not be able to register or tag your car.
Lack of a CAT will also reduce exhaust back pressure. This is good? Right? Well, the engine and some of it's components i.e. the EGR system were designed with this back pressure in mind and will not work correctly without it.
Last: "Universal" CATs will only last about a year and then need replacing. They also require modification of the exhaust system which can change resonance and functionality. Your best bet is always an OEM Catalytic Converter or a Direct Fit CAT from a reputable manufacturer.
