Do you think a Jaguar XJS would be too heavy to convert into an electric car?

I'm not sure what the limit is, but I see kits for really small cars usually, would it be too difficult to convert a Jaguar XJS 1988 HE, or is it possible? Thanks!|||I think it would be fine. Reason being most of the weight in an XJS is under the bonnet. Also when you take out the petrol engine you have an engine bay the size of a double bed.

Love XJSs.|||no, but it really depends upon what you want to spend and how you want to proceed. These vehicles are hybrid diesel / electrics and they are fairly big: http://www.vincelewis.net/trucks2.html

A big vehicle may not be very economical when you are done with a conversion... but that may not be a consideration for you.|||Not at all. Drive it to your local dealer and see if they will trade it for a Prius.
