I want to install jaguar on my macintsoh g3 beige, i need to partition the drive to install but im not sure how to or what is the procedure to install an OS freshly on a blank hard darive. Thanks in advance.|||If the hard drive is blank then you should just put the disk in and start her up, if it can run jaguar then it should pop up and install. If you mean install on an external disk then you need to plug it in and insert the disk and choose install on external drive.
You talked about partitioning. I don't know why you are partitioning it unless you want something on the other part of the HDD, but you can go to disk utility and partition there. It's in applications/utilities/disk utility.
