Hey i drive my dad's 1998 jaguar vanden plas alot and I have seen people post videos of them showing their fuel consumption and other options on their trip computer in the gauge cluster screen. Although, I do not know how to check mine. I would really like to learn what button to push or what to do. Please help me out.

How to get rid of the "Air Suspension Fault" warning on 2004 Jaguar XJ8?
I have a 2004 Jaguar XJ8 with less than 61,000 miles on it. This warning message pops up on the odometer screen all the time. The reset button only takes the text on the screen away, but how do you get rid of the amber colored warning light?|||Did you get it fixed? If not, then that's why it is still lit. If you got it fixed, tell them to reset the codes.|||Get rid of that craptastic air bag suspension and replace it with coil springs.
Which is a better guitar and why? a Fender Classic Player Jaguar Special HH or a Fender Jaguar HH?
The Classic Player Jaguar Special HH has a tremolo whereas the Jaguar HH has a fixed bridge. The Jaguar HH only comes in black, which I like but the Classic Player Jaguar Special HH comes in a 3-tone burst and white. Jaguar question? Can someone help me understand something about the Jaguar models?
I know this might sound like a stupid question, but I don't know anything about cars. I was looking on wikipedia about the new Jaguar XJ models (X351), and it says there are three different types of engines: the 3.0 litre V6 Diesel, 5.0 litre V8 Petrol, and the 5.0 litre V8 Petrol supercharged. I don't understand the difference between these engines. Can someone explain it to me? Thanks.|||The litre size is the engine displacement (the amount of air and fuel that can fit in the cylinders). The "V" denotes the type of engine - specifically the way that the cylinders are oriented in the engine block. The number after the "V" is the number of cylinders. i just purchased a beautiful white 2002 jaguar xtype 65k miles that is missing the catalytic converter and the guy is telling me thats not important and the car will continue running just fine.Is this true and what type should i start shopping for?|||Your "Check Engine" Light should be coming on soon. Lack of a CAT will also reduce exhaust back pressure. This is good? Right? Well, the engine and some of it's components i.e. the EGR system were designed with this back pressure in mind and will not work correctly without it.
Last: "Universal" CATs will only last about a year and then need replacing. They also require modification of the exhaust system which can change resonance and functionality. Your best bet is always an OEM Catalytic Converter or a Direct Fit CAT from a reputable manufacturer.

i would like to feed my jaguar cichlid on something that will give it a little fight before it can eat it i would like something that will just give the jag a lil wrestle.I would like something in the crustacean family.|||These cichlids will readily accept most food substances offered. Diet should be varied however. Offer a variety of insect, including blood worm, earthworm, mysis, crickets (for larger specimens). Chopped meat can also be offered along with beef heart (offer very sparingly due to its high fat content) along with prawn and fish (live/frozen). Frozen fish is a much preferred method of feeding fish as many "feeder fish" carry the risk of the introducing disease into your aquarium, possibly harming your fish. This is the best feed for the Cichlid. The problem with feeding food that will fight back is the chance it will go after other fish in the tank.

How to install Daytime Running Lights on Jaguar 2002 x-type?
Hey Jaguar fans, I've just imported a 2002 Jaguar x-type and the dealer wants an inflated amount to install/activate the daytime running lights. Can i do this my self, will the generic kit available from Napa work?

I have a Jaguar and there is always a gas smell Why?
I have a Jaguar, everytime i fill it up with gas or when it is low on gas, there is a very strong smell of gas vapors, its not from the engine, nor the gas cap, I can smell it very stong where the covertible top is on the side. my jag is a xk8 conv. 1999, dose anyone know why this smell is happening or where it is coming from?|||Sounds like you have a hose that either came off or rotted in the evap system|||First off lol you do NOT own a jag, it is a glorified Ford (Ford unfortunately acquired Jaguar thus completely destroying the once great marque of Jaguar). There is a major factory recall involving this problem so call your local Jaguar dealership, have your VIN # handy, ask to speak with the service advisor, read to him your VIN # so he/she can run it through the computer to check to see what recall repairs were not performed on your car. THIS IS FREE and you DO NOT have to pay for these repairs. Just play it safe and do this- there is no charge for this service. And thank those bozos at Ford for making sure you had such a wonderful time worrying about this kind of thing - its' stuff they should have taken seriously in the first place to prevent this from happening in the first place.|||You feed it raw beef?|||Canister vapor valve, that's what takes in and controls gas fumes that come from the fuel tank. Can someone tell me the advatages of a Fender Stratocaster as opposed to the Telecaster, Jaguar or Jazzmaster?
More specifically, the Vintage Hot Rod '57 Stratocaster.

Stratocaster
Pros: 3 pickups (standard) as opposed to 2 pickups in the others (standard). These means you can get more tonal variety from the Stratocaster. There are several replacement parts for the Stratocaster as well as custom parts for easy modification. The value of a Stratocaster holds very well, and older ones are worth much much more than the Jazz or the Tele.
Cons: Everyone has one, AKA you don't stand out much. The tone can be compressed, thin, and too quacky for some types of music. Occasionally the treble can overwhelm the mids and the lows. The 5 way toggle switch and the volume knobs get in the way of strumming waaaay too often.
Telecaster:
Pros: Very bright clear sound, not compressed. Several custom and replacement parts. Volume knob and pickup switch are in perfect spots and don't get in the way. Very versatile guitar tone for several musical styles. There exists a semi-hollow version (thinline telecaster).
Cons: Too much treble sometimes. Only 2 pickups on standard models. A lot of models have really really thick necks, and it makes it hard to play fast sometimes. (There are models with small necks too though).
Jazzmaster:
Pros: Very full sound and tone due to the soapbar type pickups. Not too much treble not too much bass. Rhythm circuit and lead circuit switchable. Unique looks, you stand out a little bit because you have a different guitar. Tons of tone options due to different circuits.

What pickups should i get for my jaguar?
I'm putting together a fender jaguar and don't know if i should go with the original single coil pickups or get some humbuckers. How will the single coils deal with overdrive|||Just as with clean playing, you won't notice much difference in single and double coils (humbuckers) in relation to overdrive until you are using more than one at a time, as the tone is different across the length of the body of the body.
One issue is the lack or selection in single coil pick-up. Where you can get humbuckers for almost any sound you desire, there are very few types of single coils.

I am very interested in getting a Jaguar X-Type sedan version used, what is the best year for that model?
I am looking to get a used one, and was wondering what the differences are if there were any between the different years that it was made. I just love the jaguar looks, the jaguar feel, and the jaguar image. I want to buy this Jaguar from this guy and it has ben in a feild for five years and it drove back there. i know that the block all aluminium and that wont rust, buy what would be some good tips on getting it to run.|||i own a shop,and even though the block is aluminum,it still has a steel sleeve in the cylinder walls,so be careful on this one,you could be in store for a big nightmare,one that will never end,id ask them why they parked it in a field,that would be my first clue as to a good reason not to buy it,I'm not kidding you,that could turn out to be a bottomless pit as far as repairs go,see why they parked it before you think about buying it,because every thing in it is going to have to be flushed out real good including the gas tank,and its going to need a lot of new parts to get it started,a complete tune up would be a good place to begin,but first find out why they parked it,those was real bad to warp heads,and a head for it is about 1500 bucks used,and that's if you can find one,good luck on this one,if it were me id pass on it.|||it sounds like a lot of work on that one.

Does Jaguar have plans to make a hybrid? I want an XK Convertible, and I wish they'd make a hybrid of it. Do you think they won't since it's a rich people car and rich people generally don't care about the environment and how their high consumption impacts things?|||Jaguar doesn't have any plans for a hybrid powerplant.

How do i program a key (only), not the remote for a jaguar x-type 2002?
Lost both keys to my car, Jaguar dealership will cut the keys for me. I need to know how to program the new keys to my car. Jaguar engine stall and coolant overflow?
I bought a 98 Jaguar xj8 today and the coolant over flowed three times but the temp. gage didn't raise to the hot level, also I was driving on the freeway around 65 mph and the engine started loosing power and after rolling for a minute the engine stalled. What's the problem and is it major?|||Check your radiator if its clog. The water might not circulating properly. Also check your water and coolant level. its should be in the proper level. You can remove air in your radiator by removing the cap while in idle for about 3 to 5 minutes then putting the cap back. In this way you are removing air causing to much pressure and overheating. Hope this helps!|||Sounds like the seller may have been aware of the overheating problem, as this same occurrence just happen to some friends. Prior to your driving off in the car did you inspect the engine compartment for possible signs of over heating/ Like stains around the reservoir,etc. Also check the temp Gage connection it may be unplugged. Next will be the thermostat and water pump. As found with my friends vehicle the oil was clear, but an oil change before the sale would make it look good. End of story before we got the vehicle home the engine overheated three times and blew the head gaskets to the tune of 1k and the light never came on.|||It could be as simple as an overfilled coolant reservoir but from what you say it sounds like a blown head gasket. This pushes the compressed fuel and air mixture out of the combustion chamber into the cooling system causing it to push coolant out of the radiator/reservoir. Yes this is a major problem.|||i would say it is a blown head gasket or a cracked head.
The compression pressure escapes in to the coolant.

The battery had been removed. The entire system needs reset. Anyone know how to do this? 1988 Jaguar XJ6.|||First you should go through the glove box and check the owners manual or look for any codes written on or inside of it. Also there is often times a business card size card that may have your code on it. If that doesn't work you may be able to call a local dealer with the VIN number of you car for the code. Lastly if that doesn't work the radio needs to be pulled from the car and the serial number on the radio will need to be given to the deal for the code.

Where can I find a special OEM tire for my Jaguar?
I have a 1990 XJS 12 cylinder convertible with 29K miles. The car is all original, including the tires. They are cracked and only hold air for about a month, at a time. I want to replace them with the original equipment. I am looking for 4 Pirelli P600 tires, size 235/60 VR15. I am well aware that there are newer tires available with better performance characteristics, but I am attempting to maintain the vehicle in original condition. I am the third owner (eight years) and all service work has been completed by Jaguar of Cincinnati, the original dealer. I know that this vehicle is original. Does anyone out there know where I can find these tires in new condition, not dry rotted. They have not been manufactured for a few years.

Check fuses, then pull starter and have it tested if OK check wiring.|||Check all the motor pulleys on the front of engine, if there was an accident. Hopefully, your engine isn't locked-up. Try turning it over by hand with a torque bar. Turn engine in both directions. Good Luck!!

It's not worth anything now but would it be in 20 years?|||Doubtful, there were many of them made, although with the record for poor reliability and build quality, no many of them may make it another 20 years. So you might be onto something.|||The SIII XJ6 bodystyle is iconic--classic Pininfarina elegance, considered one of the most beautiful modern sedans ever made. No one can deny how attractive the 1980-1987 XJ6 is. The Vanden Plas is the model to have, and you have an example of one of the best years.
If you keep it for another 20 or 30 years, it will begin to appreciate again. Only time will tell if they become collector's items (as they made a great many of them). I own a 2003 jaguar s type.and the headlights are auto adjust h.i.d.'s i want to move them up just abit so that i can see better at night. i normaly adjust them my self but the parts for this car can be expensive. so i would rather ask for help first. This is a supercharged vehicle but I am trying to avoid going into the purchase blindly and want to hear from others who own this particular model Jaguar. Im interested in buying a 1977 XJ6 jaguar but i heard that the electronics in jaguars are dodgy? is it true?
im trying to decide whether to buy a 1977 XJ6 4.2 litre jaguar. im only 17. people Re telling me that the electrics in jaguars are really iffy and if they break are extremly expensive. im humming and harring on whether to buy it or not.|||Most 1977 electronics are iffy, hell they were made in 77 would you buy a 1977 television? Had a couple late 80's Jags in our shop and it felt like every switch was about to break when i touched it, but in the 80's they where owned by ford so maybe that had a Little to do with it. Guess it depends on what you want to do with it, if you want it as a daily driver i would prob say go with something you KNOW will be reliable, Finding parts for a 1977 Jag wont be to easy. If you want it just to have it and cruise it around i say go for it.|||THE CHASSIS GROUND IS POSITIVE or they run wires for ground like if it was 12 volt positive
How much could I sell my 1982 Jaguar XJ6 for?
I have a 1982 Jaguar XJ6 with 130,000 miles on it in almost mint condition. The body is perfect with no dents and somehow the original paint still looks brand new even though I've heard the paint on my year is supposed to be horrible. There is not rust, no cracks, fade, or tears in the leather at all. The car looks almost brand new. Also the car has no mechanical problems as of this morning. This is the standard XJ6 with power windows, locks, sunroof, steering, and brakes, automatic transmission. I was wondering how much the value of this car is since it is in almost mint condition and is now a classic and is too old to find the price on Kelly Blue Book. I got a deal on this car for $1,500. Thanks in advance.|||About 3,000 to 5,000 Dollars.|||1500 is a decent deal. This would probably retail at a used car place for around 2500, so I would say 2500 is the max you could get. Too bad Jaguars are some of hte most unreliable things in the WORLD.|||Retail value is between $3500 and $7000. That will depend upon condition (mint must be MINT -- no dents, scratches, tears in seats, stains in carpet, rust, dull paint, pits/cracks in windshield, new tires, etc.). If you're going to get the high number, you'll need to have every maintenance record for the vehicle since it was new.

I have am 02' Jaguar x-type with the j gate for shifting the transmission. I never knew how to use it and am scard to have a problem if I mess around with it. Dose anyone know how it properly works without an issue?|||i drive a 6.0.litre v12 , they all have a j box.firstly if you are sitting for a period say at the lights etc ,just slip it in to n - with your foot still on the brake ,then when your ready slip it back into drive.the manual states when driving on-steep grades use 2nd that's on the left side .so on the left side you should see 2,3,d.this is the manual side and can be selected on the run as required.,there is also a switch at the base of the shifter but this does different things on different models ie,sports mode ,normal mode ,so i hope this helps .

I have a pair of jags, i want to sell soon, and was wondering what the average of a 14" Jaguar Pair is?|||a 14" pair of jags is pretty hard to find these days. ( i have seen a 16" (male), and a 14" ( female) breeding pair, they sold for $450 at my LFS. I sold my pair of 10"( male), and 8" jag ( female) breeding pair for 150, so I am gonna guess about 180-250 for the pair. Thanks. If the pair is proven, and you can provide proof, the price will be higher.

They do have similar shaped bodies, but the bodies are not interchangable.
The Jaguar uses a 24 inch scale; the Jazzmaster uses a 25 1/2 inch scale (same as the Strat). So the frets will be closer together on the Jaguar. The bridges will be in different locations on the two bodies to accomodate the scale used. Both necks are a C profile and a 7 .25 inch radius fretboard.
The Jaguar has special single coil pickups designed for the Jaguar (they are different from Strat pickups). The Jazzmaster uses P-90 style single coil pickups.
The electronics are slightly different. The Jazzmaster uses a toggle switch pickup selector. The Jaguar uses off/on slide individual switches for the pickups.
And as I recall, the Jazzmaster is slightly heavier, but I do not have the weights for either of them.

Can I keep a Jaguar cichlid alone in a 75 Gallon Aquarium?
Im re-doing my 75 gallon aquarium and i would love to have a female jaguar cichlid. my local fish store just got a bunch on 4 inchers in and some of them i can tell pretty easy which are males and females. Can a single FEMALE jaguar cichlid live in a 75 gallon tank with excellent filtration? i know a male would grow to large but will a female be alright?

What is approximate cost to fix a leaky differential on a 2005 Jaguar X-Type?
I just noticed the rear on my 2005 Jaguar X-Type started leaking. The car is no longer under warranty. Is this a common problem with this car? Where can I find a Schwinn Jaguar Beach Cruiser?
I am looking for both a men's and women's Schwinn Jaguar Cruiser bike. I believe it's a 2005 or 2006 model. They are blue and silver, identical other than the placement of the center bar. Im thinking about buying a 1996 jaguar xjr but wanted to know the bads and goods about it?
Its a 1996 jaguar xjr with 47k miles. the seller wants $5500 and is willing to knock off a lil from the price...I just wanted to know is this a good deal? what are the bad things about these cars besides there expensive to fix like what goes bad on them the most? what should i ask the seller before i buy this car so i can make sure i wont need to end up spending tons of money into it?|||it's a jaguar. every mechanic is going to tell you the same thing, that they are nothing but trouble, totally unreliable, and expensive to fix. unless you have another $5000 to do repairs, don't buy this car.|||Your "best answer" does not really know much about Jaguar. The specific year you are looking at, there is only one thing you need to be aware of. Ask if the timing belt has been chaned. If not, change the timing belt and you will be good to go. Thats not true that they are mechanical failures

How do I get my Jaguar to turn off?
2004 Jaguar x-type won't turn off, even with the keys out and the ignition in the off position, I unhooked the battery cables and still the engine is running! What do I do? Whats causing this? I need advice from an expert|||sounds like your ignition switch is defective. Have it replaced. Removing the ignition circuit fuse would shut the car off instantly. Look in your owners manual for a fuse ignition related and take it out.|||I do not know a firm price. I'd say between 150 and 200 dollars.

IF there is still charge in the system then it cannot deliver the fuel to the engine.
Any other big fuses but choose carefully. Cut the fuel off so the engine stops running. Is there a fuel cut off switch?

How do you turn off the "Oxygen Sensor" light on a 1986 Jaguar XJS?
I'm working on a customer's 1986 Jaguar XJS and replaced the oxygen sensors. Now that the new bosch oxygen sensors are installed, I need to turn off the "Oxygen Sensor" light on the dash. I would call our usual technical question service company for the procedure but it's Saturday and they're not returning to normal business hours until Monday.|||you might have to take it somewhere to have the codes cleared.|||don't know about a Jag but on a Ford if you unhook the battery for a few minutes it will re set the light

Compare the price of a Jaguar on the new car lot to a Nissan Maxima. Apply that same cost difference to the labor and parts prices for that car when it needs to be serviced. Used high end Euopean luxury cars are unreliable and expensive to maintain, it's just the way it is. They are also twice the price to insure.
There is a price to pay for entering into that luxury car "club". When they are new they are expensive to buy. When they are used they are unreliable and come with high maintenance costs.|||Call your local Firestone, or some other national service center. Ask them how much it is for a 4-wheel brake job (pads and rotors) on a 1999 Porsche 911. Then ask how much it is on a Nissan Maxima. You will be amazed at how much more it can be

I know nothing about Lotus other than their four cylinder engine was one of the best performers of that size. I do however know that a Japanese car executive said, "The day of the six cylinder car for us is over, we have four cylinders now that will out do the six on many levels."I'd consider the Genesis made in Korea and I saw a mid size four door at the LA auto show. I don't know about current availability on it. There is nothing luxurious about the Porsche, it is more about stiff riding spartan sports car than comfort. The Jaguar has been a disappointment for many even Ford themselves, as their banker's told them to dump them before they agreed to loan them money. (This is why Ford didn't need bail out money, they did it the old fashioned way by borrowing from this thing called a bank, whose concession was Volvo and Jaguar should have been dumped way long ago before we even had a conversation about it.) Compare the price of a Jaguar on the new car lot to a Nissan Maxima. Apply that same cost difference to the labor and parts prices for that car when it needs to be serviced. Used high end Euopean luxury cars are unreliable and expensive to maintain, it's just the way it is. They are also twice the price to insure.

Can a pair of Convict Cichlids coexist with a Female Jaguar Cichlid?
I have a young female jaguar cichlid and a male %26amp; female pair of convict cichlids. They are being housed in a 125 gallon tank. Will they be able to live together in this tank as the female Jaguar cichlid grows to adulthood and when the convict cichlids are breeding? Is there enough room provided that the Jag wont kill the convicts and enough room so the convicts can breed without being overly disturbed by the female Jag?|||It's not the aggression, but the size difference. A female jag will get 18 to 20 inches. An adult convict isn't even a meal, it's a snack. Even if they get along great, all it would take is the jag getting hungry one day. Jaguar cichlids are predatory and adventurous eaters. Sorry, tank size can solve aggression issues, but only with somewhat comparably sized or at least herbivorous fish. It wouldn't work even in a tank twice that size.|||you can move the convicts on another tank because the Jaguar may disturbed there spawning.

What is the estimated time it will take to replace the rear rotors and pads on my 1982 Jaguar XJ6?
I have a 1982 XJ6 that needs new rear rotors and pads but this car has inboard rear brakes so I don't want to do it myself for fear of messing something up. I was wondering what the estimated time would be for a mechanic to replace the rear rotors and pads. I know it is a Jaguar so mechanics see $$$ when I ask for an estimate. I got an estimate from one place and they said with parts and labor it would be over $900 just for the rear! Someone please help me. Don't let me spend that kind of money! Thanks in advance.|||Doing the rear rotors is very tricky, but like anything else, becomes easier with experience. It's actuallyeasy enough to drop the axle, which will eliminate the access issues. It's going to take about twice the time as outboard brakes,whether you drop the axle or do it in place.
When you replace the rotors, try to find Brembo rotors. These have extra holes drilled in the hub area that allow you to pull the output shaft bearing out of the diff with the rotor in place. It may sound like another complication, but pulling out the rotor, caliper and output shaft all at once makes the job easier.
Thinking about it, find a shop to do this job.|||MY brother works for a jag dealer, He can do the rear breaks on the older jags in about an hour (thats with the Reconditioning of the rotors) I think that price is a little high. I would take it to a dealership. Get a quote form them and then 2 other independent shops that have worked with Jags before. I would avoid a shop that has not worked on jags. I only take jags in because my brother is willing to do the work on them when I bring them to him or call him. I myself have never touched one. but I would definatly get some more quotes. That sounds high to me. I seem to think the cost for the rear brakes should be around 400 to 500. Still expensive but thats better then a grand.

Reason being most of the weight in an XJS is under the bonnet. Also when you take out the petrol engine you have an engine bay the size of a double bed.

I'm purchasing a MIJ Jaguar, knowing full well the dragster pickups suck... So what are good ones to replace them with? I'm looking for something with a very full sound, to play very alternative music, that goes well with electronic synths and effects.

You can go onto Seymour Duncans site and they have a portion where they give all the pickups played clean or dirty in the neck or bridge position. I find it very helpful with finding things to suit my needs. A full sound is normally the Duncan JB pickup for the bridge. I would say to try a DiMarzio EVO in the neck. Im also a fan of the Carvin Allan Holdsworth for a neck position. Good luck, its hard to find the perfect pup!!!

How do you remove the battery from a 1999 jaguar vanden plas?
The battery in my jaguar is dead and I cannot manage too remove it from the trunk (the location of the battery) I was wondering if anyone could help.|||Battery should have a hold down bolt, some on side others on one end at bottom of battery. Also if down in hole some have straps to lift out or you'll need a battery carrier to remove. Been a while but remember or right under cover.

How to install a DiMarzio humbucker into a Jaguar Special HH?
Hi. I need profession guitar tech help. I have a Fender Jaguar Special HH with the original switching, and I want to install a DiMarzio Super Distortion (4-conductor) in the bridge. I want to keep the original switching, so I need a color-coded wiring diagram to show how. Or is there a better way? Please help me out|||The schematics for all Fenders guitars and their proper wiring can be found on their website. If I remember correctly, last I used it, it was black and white. You can keep the original switching by wiring in the new pickup the same as the old one was. Just keep in mind that both Fender and DiMarzio use different color codes on their pickups. DiMarzio's come with a little pamphlet that tells you the color codes and a few options for setting up the pickups in coil taps, reverse phase, etc. If you don't have that pamphlet, you can go on their website to decode the colors if you don't have a multimeter.
Installing a different brand of pickups requires a bit of understanding of which wire goes to where. Also, I hope you got a standard size pickup rather than an F spaced.

How do you adjust the xenon lighting on a 2003 jaguar s type V6? the light is always pointed straight down and does not provide any illumination. I already tried screwing in the screws that change the angle of the flaps on the lights but that did not help.|||the little screw on top
What was the old black and white movie with the jaguar named Baby?
I remember very little about it but this woman and man had this jaguar for a weekend and he couldn't stand the woman (I think) and she called the jaguar baby I think they got together in the end and at one point they are in a jail cell with the jaguar.

What are the physical differences between the cheetah and the jaguar?
If you were to look at cheetah print and jaguar print, how could you tell them apart?|||The jaguar (Panthera onca) is found in South and Central America. It is the third largest of all cats, after the tiger and lion, and can weigh up to 350lb. It is heavily-built and muscular, with stocky legs, a shorter tail than the cheetah and a broad head. In colour it is yellow patterned with large, blotchy rosettes of black or dark brown. This is a jaguar:

The cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is found in Africa, with a small relict population in Iran. It is the fastest-running animal on Earth, and its whole body is designed for speed - it is slender and lightly-built, with long legs, a small rounded head, and a long tail. Its claws are only partially retractile, to help it grip the ground whilst running at high speed. It is tawny in colour, patterned with small, solid black spots, and has distinctive 'tear-marks' on the face - black lines running from the inner corner of each eye to the corner of the mouth.
