The battery had been removed. The entire system needs reset. Anyone know how to do this? 1988 Jaguar XJ6.|||First you should go through the glove box and check the owners manual or look for any codes written on or inside of it. Also there is often times a business card size card that may have your code on it. If that doesn't work you may be able to call a local dealer with the VIN number of you car for the code. Lastly if that doesn't work the radio needs to be pulled from the car and the serial number on the radio will need to be given to the deal for the code.
