Does Jaguar have any plans for a hybrid?

Does Jaguar have plans to make a hybrid? I want an XK Convertible, and I wish they'd make a hybrid of it. Do you think they won't since it's a rich people car and rich people generally don't care about the environment and how their high consumption impacts things?|||Jaguar doesn't have any plans for a hybrid powerplant.

The article link below on the upcoming CX-F outlines the changes Ford will soon be implementing as the model line is taken further upmarket where Jaguar will return to a more performance-oriented product mix.

Hybrids as "green" vehicles is a myth anyway, hybrids have been proven to be bigger polluters than conventional engines as a result of the mining and disposal of the materials in the expendable battery packs. Hybrid manufacturers are only trying to secure market share until fuel-cell powerplants are cost-effective.

Give Jaguar another 15 years, and they'll probably be building a truly green fuel-cell version, though.
