Im interested in buying a 1977 XJ6 jaguar but i heard that the electronics in jaguars are dodgy? is it true?

im trying to decide whether to buy a 1977 XJ6 4.2 litre jaguar. im only 17. people Re telling me that the electrics in jaguars are really iffy and if they break are extremly expensive. im humming and harring on whether to buy it or not.|||Most 1977 electronics are iffy, hell they were made in 77 would you buy a 1977 television? Had a couple late 80's Jags in our shop and it felt like every switch was about to break when i touched it, but in the 80's they where owned by ford so maybe that had a Little to do with it. Guess it depends on what you want to do with it, if you want it as a daily driver i would prob say go with something you KNOW will be reliable, Finding parts for a 1977 Jag wont be to easy. If you want it just to have it and cruise it around i say go for it.|||THE CHASSIS GROUND IS POSITIVE or they run wires for ground like if it was 12 volt positive
