I am just so curious because all my friends say African cichlids are small and cowardly so i was just wondering if there is any African cichlid that can beat a jaguar cichlid.|||there are some that can stand up to them but they still would'nt win because of the jag massive size i would try a red devil or a texas cichlid those are the only ones i no that will win or aleast hold there ground|||There are many very aggressive Africans and a few big enough to handle themselves, but jaguars have a different behavour type than these Africans and my money would still be on the jaguar (if I had no ethics and enjoyed watching them fight)
Anyone who says 'African cichlids are "small and cowardly" clearly has no idea about them. Some of the smallest species are extremely aggressive and would only lose because they are so small.
