How do you remove the battery from a 1999 jaguar vanden plas?

The battery in my jaguar is dead and I cannot manage too remove it from the trunk (the location of the battery) I was wondering if anyone could help.|||Battery should have a hold down bolt, some on side others on one end at bottom of battery. Also if down in hole some have straps to lift out or you'll need a battery carrier to remove. Been a while but remember or right under cover.
