I have been looking for a subaru or other all wheel drive car, however i came across a great deal on a jaguar x type. Im worried that if it does break down how expensive it will be to fix, I know before 2007 they were made by ford, does that mean they just use ford parts?|||jags are high-end cars. they are expensive to maintain, just because of the name itself. unless you do all car work yourself, i wouldn't recommend it.
best be sticking with a subaru.|||In general Jaguars are high maintenance automobiles. Great cars to drive and they will pass anything on the road (except a filling station :-) but they need lots of TLC and a thick wallet if you want to treat them like they deserve.
Go for the Subaru if you want a dependable, low maintenance car that has OK performance.|||I would not recomend getting one. I have heard some very bad stories of things that go wrong with them.
