How do you open the trunk on a 1999 Jaguar convertible with a dead battery?

I have a 1999 XK8 jaguar convertible, the battery is dead. The provided service manual is worthless, it shows no other way to open than with the key fob. Any help will be greatly appreciated.|||i guess your going to tell me the battery is in the trunk and you dont have a key. use a jump box that plugs into your cigarette lighter. it will give you enough juice to pop the lid.|||charge the battery or get a new one|||Doesn't it have a key hole? If not, it would be the first production car I ever heard of that didn't...it could be under an emblem...
